Get to know University Area
The University Area is an unincorporated community in northern Hillsborough County near the University of South Florida setting. It is distinct from the university campus and from the broader Tampa postal area.
Hillsborough's community planning recognizes the University Area separately, and the county's recreation network includes the Victor Crist Community Center Complex. These local reference points help place a home within a wider neighborhood context.
Explore the streets around a property and the routes to destinations you expect to use regularly. A university-area address does not guarantee a particular relationship to campus, so consider the precise location rather than relying on the general name.
