Get to know Trilby
Trilby is in northeastern Pasco County, just west of Lacoochee and north of Dade City. It is one of the smaller inland communities near the transition into Hernando County, with a compact mapped area.
The Withlacoochee State Trail follows a former railway corridor through this part of Florida, linking small towns and natural areas. Trilby retains a connection to that railroad past through the surviving foundations of its old station. The trail gives the community a recognizable outdoor landmark beyond its small-town footprint.
