South Pasadena

South Pasadena is a separate city in southern Pinellas County, between the broader St. Petersburg mainland area and the coastal communities to the west. Boca Ciega Bay is an important geographic reference.

Its position makes it useful to explore when comparing mainland and beach-area locations. The city has its own boundaries and identity, even though nearby St. Petersburg and St. Pete Beach may be more familiar names.

When considering a home, look at how its particular street or building relates to the water and surrounding roads. A bayside city address does not establish a water view, private access or the amenities attached to an individual property.
