Keystone

Keystone is in northwestern Hillsborough County, within the larger Keystone-Odessa community planning area. The adopted plan emphasizes its rural identity and the importance of lakes, wetlands, creeks and agricultural history.

This is a different setting from denser Tampa neighborhoods farther south. Its local roads and varied property patterns are useful parts of understanding the community, rather than treating it as one large planned subdivision.

For a home with land, focus on the parcel and how it can be used. Lake proximity, open space and a rural address do not establish water access, permitted uses or the practical layout of the property.
