Hudson is in northwestern Pasco County, between the Bayonet Point area and the Hernando County line. The name is associated with both the coast and a broader inland area, so a Hudson address does not necessarily mean a waterfront setting.
Hudson Beach, also known as Robert J. Strickland Memorial Park, is a recognizable public waterfront gathering place. The beach and surrounding coastal area give Hudson a connection to the Gulf, while its inland neighborhoods offer a different setting within the same broader community name.
