Get to know Hernando Beach
Hernando Beach lies on Hernando County's Gulf coast, west of Spring Hill and south of Bayport. Its location gives it a distinctly coastal identity compared with the inland neighborhoods that make up much of the county.
The adjacent Weekiwachee Preserve adds a natural backdrop of pine-covered sandhills, swamps and saltwater marshes. Together with the Gulf shoreline, these landscapes make water and open natural areas central to the community’s setting. An individual home’s view and boating access still depend on its particular lot.
