Get to know Plantation

Plantation lies east of Venice Gardens and north of the North Port area in Sarasota County. It is a separately mapped community in the southern part of the county, distinct from the City of Plantation in South Florida.

South Venice lies to the west, while Venice is farther northwest. This is the mainland side of the southern Sarasota region, away from the barrier-island shoreline and the central Sarasota urban area.
