Pinecraft is a small community on the eastern side of the Sarasota area, north of Southgate. Its compact local identity is separate from the broader city name used for much of the surrounding region.
Pinecraft Park sits along Phillippi Creek beneath mature oaks. The park provides a recognizable gathering place and a natural feature within the neighborhood, connecting the community with one of Sarasota's inland waterways.
