Get to know Lake Sarasota

Lake Sarasota lies east of Bee Ridge and southeast of Sarasota Springs. It occupies an inland location in Sarasota County, beyond the communities closest to the bay and Siesta Key.

Fruitville lies to the north, while Old Miakka is much farther east. The community forms part of the eastern Sarasota-area geography, distinct from both the downtown waterfront and the county's southern towns.
