Waverly

Waverly is a small community north of Lake Wales and south of Dundee in eastern Polk County. Its position places it among the separately named communities along the county's ridge-side corridor, rather than within the Lakeland-centered western area.

Dundee's rolling Lake Wales Ridge setting helps explain the regional landscape to the north, while Lake Wales provides a larger town center to the south. Waverly is a focused local area between them, distinct from the wider destination descriptions attached to either neighboring town.
