Lakeland Highlands

Lakeland Highlands lies south of Lakeland and east of Medulla in western Polk County. It is a separate Census-designated community within the broader South Lakeland area, rather than a name for the entire southern part of the city.

Highland City lies to the east and the Mulberry area farther southwest. Lakeland provides the principal neighboring urban context to the north, while the Highlands name offers a more focused way to distinguish this location from other communities with Lakeland mailing addresses.
