Kathleen

Kathleen is a community northwest of Lakeland in western Polk County. Its position places it north of the Medulla and Mulberry side of the region and west of the county's more central group of cities around Auburndale and Winter Haven.

Lakeland supplies the main neighboring city context, with its downtown lakes and cultural destinations farther southeast. Kathleen identifies a more specific area on that city's northwestern side, useful for distinguishing local properties from others described simply as being in the wider Lakeland region.
