Highland Park

Highland Park is a small village south of Lake Wales and north of Babson Park in eastern Polk County. Its compact municipal geography distinguishes it from the much larger surrounding Lake Wales area and from other Florida communities with similar names.

The wider setting belongs to Polk's inland ridge corridor, where separately named towns and communities sit among the region's lakes. Lake Wales provides the nearby urban reference point, while Babson Park and the Crooked Lake area orient the landscape to the south.
