Davenport

Davenport is a city in northeastern Polk County, north of Haines City and south of Loughman. Its location places it toward the Osceola County side of the region, rather than within the Lakeland-centered western part of Polk.

The official visitor bureau describes the wider Davenport area as an important vacation-home destination near the Orlando attractions. That broader destination extends beyond the city itself, so the incorporated community and properties marketed generally as Davenport should not be treated as identical places.
