Crooked Lake Park is a small community south of Lake Wales and west of Babson Park. It belongs to the group of separately named places around the southern Lake Wales area, with Hillcrest Heights farther southeast.
The nearby Babson Park area is associated with the Ridge Scenic Highway and natural areas such as Crooked Lake Prairie. Those landmarks give the wider setting a recognizable inland-lake identity, while the community boundary remains separate from the lake itself and from the surrounding towns.
