Get to know McIntosh
McIntosh sits in northern Marion County, north of Reddick and south of Micanopy. Its location gives it a connection to the communities along the Alachua-Marion border, rather than the southern Ocala-area communities farther down the county.
The historic district and mature oak canopy are notable parts of the townscape. Preserved buildings and antique shops provide a connection to an earlier era of Florida, giving a visit here a focus beyond the surrounding countryside.
