Ellenton

Ellenton lies on the northern side of the Manatee River, east of Palmetto. It occupies a mainland setting within the river region, distinct from the coastal island communities farther west.

Gamble Plantation Historic State Park provides a notable historical landmark in the community. The site adds a connection to the area's nineteenth-century history, while the river and neighboring Palmetto help define Ellenton's broader geography.
