Beverly Hills occupies inland Citrus County, near Pine Ridge and Citrus Hills. Its position between the Crystal River and Inverness sides of the county gives it a different setting from the riverfront and coastal communities farther west.

Pine Ridge, Citrus Hills and Lecanto form part of the surrounding inland community pattern. Together they occupy the space between Citrus County's western river destinations and the eastern communities around Inverness and Hernando.
